How to use an EV 664 Microphone for recording? - ev-664
I have an old EV 664 microphone. As far as I know it works, but age is 4-pin instead of an XLR connector, how can I use it anyway?

I'll take a stab at this:
There seems to be that the pins are connected together 2 a.m. to 3 p.m., Pin 1 is the shield (ground) Pin 2 a.m. to 3 p.m. White (-CA) and the black terminal is named 4th (+ VE).
I have a wiring diagram (see address below) and a very detailed description of the unit.
Theoretically, you can connect the microphone output, so:
EV 664 pin 1 connects to pin 1 XLR
EV664 pins 2 a.m. to 3 p.m. connected to 3 pin XLR
EV664 pin 4 connects to 2 XLR-pin
Note that you do not know, an educated guess
